Eric Ferri is the Executive Vice President and Chief Risk Officer of Pathward®, N.A. and Pathward Financial, Inc. In this role, he leads enterprise risk management across financial and non-financial risk disciplines — spanning risk appetite, strategy, governance, and consolidated risk reporting to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Ferri brings nearly two decades of experience across federal bank supervision, management consulting, and senior executive leadership in financial services to his role. Before joining Pathward, he served as Chief Operational Risk and Resilience Officer at Ally Bank, where he led a team of risk professionals responsible for enterprise-wide operational risk, third-party risk management, business continuity and resilience programs. Prior to Ally, he held senior advisory roles at Promontory Financial Group and KPMG. Ferri has partnered with many of the nation’s largest financial services firms on risk framework design, compliance program remediation and regulatory strategy. He began his career as a bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he supervised banks during the defining years of the Great Recession.

Education:
Ferri earned a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He certified with the American Bankers Association (ABA) as a Regulatory Compliance Manager.

Ferri has been a featured speaker at agenda-setting industry events across the country, including several ABA events, as well as conferences held by the Risk Management Association, Global Financial Markets Intelligence and Consumer Bankers Association.
